Lebret flutes are known for their big, earthy sound, and this headjoint has it. The headjoint provides a great deal of control over volume and tonal consistency when transitioning between registers.
Lebret headjoints are typically unmarked. This headjoint has “Lebret Paris” stamped on it near the ferrule. It’s also positioned so that it could be read when opening the case (with the crown positioned to the right). There are no signs that the headjoint has been altered.
