This headjoint was initially paired with Burkhart 49, purchased in 1998. In 2018, the owner paired the flute with a platinum-silver headjoint, so this headjoint is being sold separately and ready to be paired with a new flute.
This headjoint excels on a Burkhart body, but we’ve also tested it on various flutes. Overall, it brings a tremendous amount of heft to the lower register, and the middle and upper registers are well-balanced.
