This flute is just the body (and foot). It complements all of the headjoints we’ve tried on it, both traditional and modern. With traditional headjoints, the sound is smooth and silky, accentuating the headjoints’ inherent sweetness. With modern headjoints, the sound is round and forthright.

Carl Hall, former piccoloist of the Atlanta Symphony (1984-2016), previously owned this flute and played it with a Lafin headjoint (sold separately).

The instrument has been overhauled and is in virtually new condition.
